Product Description
The Versatile 1080, more commonly known as "Big Roy" has been a brand icon since its introduction in 1977. The sheer size of Big Roy made it a spectacle that had to be seen. At more than 30' (9.3 m) in length and weighing nearly 30 tons, the tractor featured cutting edge technology (including a closed-circuit television and rear-facing camera) and a cab that was large enough to seat three adults.
Only one Versatile 1080 was ever built. It was fully restored in 2016 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Versatile four-wheel drive production and is now on permanent display at the Manitoba Agriculture Museum in Austin, Manitoba.
